The Maryland Council on Economic Education invites you to submit a proposal for the 2025 Financial and Economic Educator Summit, which will be held on June 24th at the Hotel at Arundel Preserve in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. In an effort to bring our Maryland teachers a wide range of sessions that showcase innovative ways to share personal finance and economics concepts, we are requesting proposals from the education community and supporting organizations. |

Proposals will be reviewed by MCEE's education staff. Your proposal may not be selected. There are a limited number of sessions for each grade band. If we receive more quality proposals than we have space for, we may ask you to present your session at another time. We will notify you in early February as to whether your proposal has been accepted and convey next steps. Note: You are welcome to submit more than one proposal, but you must complete an online submission form for each proposal. |
Speaker Information |
If your proposal is selected, all speakers must commit to presenting in-person during the assigned session time. Collaborative teams of teachers are encouraged. If you wish to distribute copyrighted information in your supplemental resource materials, it is the presenters’ responsibility to obtain the necessary permission. If you are distributing physical documents, please bring copies for distribution. Participants do not react well to outright marketing of services during conference education sessions. An indirect approach to marketing will be much more successful. A well-received session, where participants have gained from your expertise, is often the very best way of positioning yourself in the market. |
