The 2025 APGFCU Scholarship is open to high school students 18 years of age or younger who is a current APGFCU member in good standing, anticipating a Spring 2025 graduation, or a continuing student of a college, trade school or a certificate program in 2025, or an adult returning to a for-credit college, trade school or a certificate program in 2025. THE CREDIT UNION FOUNDATION OF MD & DC SCHOLARSHIP |
Do you have members who could use some help with college tuition? The Credit Union Foundation MD|DC college scholarship program makes it easy to help your college-bound members meet their tuition expenses while strengthening their connections with your credit union. Student members are eligible to apply for one of ten $2,000 essay-based scholarships and one of two $2,000 video-based scholarships. Members can apply in both categories. And the best part? You present them with their scholarship award! Members of Maryland or D.C.-based credit unions or members of credit unions that are affiliated with the MD|DC Credit Union Association are eligible to apply. Member applicants must be entering their freshman through senior year of college or trade school. This scholarship does not apply to students in post-graduate programs and cannot be applied to the payment of student loans. FIRST FINANCIAL FEDERAL CREDIT UNION SCHOLARSHIP |
FFFCU is proud to offer a scholarship opportunity through our annual Scholarship Program. Typically, a $3,000 college scholarship is made available to each high school within our field of membership. Additional scholarships are available to existing student members who attend schools outside of our field of membership. Students must have a minimum 2.5 unweighted GPA to qualify. Scholarship funds can be used for post-secondary institutions (including college, technical, and trade schools); and are for related expenses during the student’s first year of study. The deadline to apply is February 1, 2024. (look for next year's date soon) Students must have their own Savings Account with First Financial FCU (Custodial, Health Savings, and special IRA accounts not eligible). Length of membership does not factor into the scholarship decision. If you're eligible for membership, join now and apply for the scholarship right away. Application Requirements:

SECU MD FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP |
The SECU MD Foundation has a long history of helping students achieve their goals through the annual SECU MD Foundation Scholarship program, which has awarded $1 million in scholarships since the program’s inception 18 years ago. Because of our strong commitment to helping young people throughout our Maryland communities and our partnership with the University System of Maryland schools, we are awarding $10,000 scholarships to 12 students currently attending any of Maryland’s 16 community colleges who are transferring to a University System of Maryland university for the 2024-2025 academic year. Students currently enrolled at a University System of Maryland school who recently transferred within the last 18 months are also eligible to apply. SECU MD Foundation is proud to help SECU members attending a Maryland community college take the next step in their education at a University System of Maryland school. Applications are being accepted from March 18 – May 3. All SECU members attending a Maryland community college are encouraged to apply at Scholarship Program | SECU MD Foundation. Winners will be announced in June. |
MASTA FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP |
Colleges and universities are the foundation of a strong and healthy economy. The Mid-Atlantic STA Foundation is dedicated to the needs of students of business, finance, and economics and is proud to offer our Annual Scholarship Awards. This year the Foundation intends to award two $2,000 scholarships for high school seniors who have participated in Stock Market Game (one from MD and one from VA) for their first year of college, and two $5,000 college/university scholarships to candidates selected from our member jurisdiction of Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. The scholarship winners will be announced in August, with monies forwarded to the respective schools on behalf of the recipients prior to the Fall semester. |
